A sneak peek inside

Three moments from the book, illustrated by Sarah Keele.

Flynn the fish looks up from his pond as Sandy the monkey reaches down from a tree branch
Flynn lived next to a great jungle river, in a tiny pond. More than anything, he wanted to be like Sandy.
Jungle animals look up in shock as Flynn climbs a tree
The animals gasped. Higher and higher and higher. Higher than ever before.
Flynn the fish leaps over a river at golden sunset
He leapt over the pond's edge and dove into the river.

You might feel like you're Flynn—

like your dreams are out of place.

You might feel like you're different.

And if that is the case:

Be yourself. Try new things.

Keep going. Give it time.

And through it all, remember…

The Fish Who Tried to Climb.
